We strive to make our website and mobile application accessible. The declaration on digital accessibility is required by the Berlin Act on Accessible Information and Communication Technology (BIKTG Bln). The technical requirements for accessibility are set out in BITV 2.0.

How accessible is the website?
This website is partially accessible. Only some of the requirements of BITV 2.0 are met. We are continuously working on implementation and, in particular, on improving accessibility. Barrier-free design is taken into account, especially in the case of extensions and revisions.
Which areas are not accessible?
The areas listed below are not accessible for the following reasons.
Barrier: Easy language
Description: The website does not currently offer any content in easy language.
Accessible alternative: Until then, information can be requested by telephone or email. Support from staff is available if required.
Barrier: Alternative texts for graphics
Description: Some of the graphics and images used on the website do not have alternative texts. This means that users with screen readers cannot access the content of the graphics, or can only do so to a limited extent.
Accessible alternative: Important information from graphics is already explained in the body text or can be requested by telephone or email.
Barrier: HTML structure for headings
Description: On the website, it may happen that not all headings have been correctly marked up in the HTML structure.
Accessible alternative: Users can alternatively find the content via the main menu or the search function on the website. Telephone or written support is also available if required.
